Overview

The frozen moment is loaded with life in Lovisa Ringborg's art. Working with photography, sculpture and video, Ringborg often turns to landscape and nature as a manifestation of something both familiar and unknown. A recurring theme in her work is the possibility of metamorphosis and its both seductive and uncanny quality. With an intuitive process, Ringborg explores a range of emotions associated with an ambiguous and dreamlike state of mind. For Lovisa Ringborg, our inner world and subconsciousness always work as a source of inspiration.
